MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville City Council continues to address taste and odor issues at Mozingo Lake. At Monday night's city council meeting, the council approved two contracts related to the GAC adsorber project.
City Manager Greg McDanel told KXCV/KRNW that first, the city council entered into a funding agreement with Nodaway County Public Water Supply District #1 for a financing partnership to those efforts.
Secondly, McDanel says they entered into a contract with HDR Engineering to make sure the GAC adsorbers will take care of taste and odor issues while the city works on a new water treatment plant.
